Very Comfortable Pants For Women

Comfort Pants. They are something I think about a lot. I think about comfort, style, and how to incorporate comfort, style, easy care and something great for travel all in one garment. Because comfortable pants for women should be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe, but they’re surprisingly difficult to find.

Usually, comfortable pants aren’t stylish and stylish pants aren’t comfortable. My goal was to create comfortable pants for women that not only feel great but look great and can be worn with confidence to any occasion.

 

Why Comfortable Pants for Women Are So Important

Comfort is essential. Whatever you are doing: whether you are sitting on a plane, walking, working, on holidays, gardening, exercising, or a wonderful combination of these, comfort is essential. It’s also difficult to be stylish if you’re not comfortable. For these reasons, I thought it was high time I combined comfort and style into one garment. 

This is why I am really excited to introduce the first of some new, stylish, very comfortable pants for women: VC Pants by Kathleen Berney.

What makes these comfort pants a cut above the rest? Let’s run through a few of their best qualities.

Ponti Fabric

First, let’s talk about the fabric. Forget comfortable but unattractive tracksuit pants or stylish but uncomfortable trousers. Ponti fabric is soft and comfortable while looking stylish. It has a two-way stretch which allows it to not only fit your body shape but also offer support and ensure that there are no uncomfortable tight spots. 

The fabric is thicker than usual fabrics, being double knit. This not only keeps you warm but also serves aesthetic functions. The weight of it means that creases fall out easily, and the thickness prevents any lumps and bumps from showing through. 

Pull-On Pants

My VC Pants are a pull-on design for ultimate comfort. They have a soft, elastic waist which combined with the two-way stretch Ponti fabric makes them extremely easy to pull on and off. It also ensures that no tight buttons or zippers dig into your stomach, prioritising comfortable pants for women above all else.

Being pull-on pants also means they’re convenient. You can store and wear them anywhere, without worrying about hanging them up or being uncomfortable. This allows you to seamlessly transition from a comfortable plane flight to an event without needing to bring a change of clothes.

The best thing about these pants beyond their comfort and style? They are easy to care for. The fabric is machine washable, quick-drying, and doesn’t require any ironing. This makes them perfect for travel and any occasion.

We currently produce two different styles of these oh-so-comfortable pants. The skinny leg and the narrow leg. This range allows you to choose the right cut for the right occasion and match your pants to your own personal style and preference.

Kathleen Berney skinny leg VC Pant

This is an easy pull-on pant made from the ponti fabric. The skinny cut results in a comfortable pant that is almost a legging without being super skin tight. It allows you to achieve that fitted look without showing any lumps or bumps you would rather hide.

An angled seam below the knee enhances comfort and overall style, allowing the pant to compliment any figure. Being a similar, more comfortable and flattering alternative to leggings, these pants work well with a stylish top or under skirts and dresses to add warmth and comfort. 

Kathleen Berney narrow leg VC PANT

Once again, this pant is made from the ponti fabric with an elastic waist that prioritises comfort. The narrow straight leg cut offers a more traditional, trouser style of pants, seamlessly suited to any occasion or destination. 

If you’re attending a more formal style of event, these comfortable pants for women will work wonders. They can effortlessly pass for formal-style trousers while appearing more flattering and, most importantly, being much more comfortable. Dress them up with a stylish tunic and some nice jewellery or achieve a casual look with your favourite top and winter shoes.

These pants are so comfortable, I basically wear them all the time in the cooler months. Fantastic for travelling, and oh, so Very Comfortable.

How These Comfortable Pants are Made

Just like every Kathleen Berney garment, these pants are made by me and my team in my studio. This allows me to have complete control over the cut, fabric, other materials, and every stitch that goes into making these pants. The result is a garment that has been purposefully, carefully constructed in Australia to suit all types of women and their bodies.

It's important to me that all Kathleen Berney clothing is made ethically and responsibly. This is why I keep the manufacturing process so close to home. From recycling the fabric off-cuts to using solar power and rainwater, every step of the creating process is thought through. The idea is to limit negative impact while increasing positive impact.
