      How much does shipping cost?

      We offer free standard shipping worldwide on all orders over $35.

      If you’d like your order shipped via express post, a shipping and handling fee of $15 applies within Australia, or $25 for international delivery.

      How long will it take until I receive my order?

      If you live in Australia, please allow 3-9 business days, depending on whether you live in a metro or rural area. For all overseas orders, please allow 14-28 working days for delivery.

      Please allow 2-4 weeks to dispatch made-to-order items + the above shipping times.

      All orders are dispatched from the Kathleen Berney Head Office (Arcadia, NSW Australia) within 2 business days, subject to payment clearance and stock availability.

      You will receive a dispatch confirmation email once we have shipped your order.

      Delivery delays may occur during high volume and peak periods, or due to unforeseen circumstances. During these times, please allow an additional 5 business days for your order to be delivered.

      Can I change my delivery address?

      Please contact us on orders@kathleenberney.com.au or 02 9656 1429 as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery details.

      Once your order has been dispatched, the shipping address cannot be changed.


      RETURNS & EXCHANGES

      What if I don't like what I ordered?

      No problem! You can exchange or return the items you purchased (exceptions apply to sale items) within 14 days of receiving your order.

      Please note:
      You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
      To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must have all tags attached. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase with reason for return included.

      Do you offer free returns worldwide?

      Unfortunately, we only offer free returns within Australia.
      If you are returning an order from overseas, your local delivery fees apply.

      I received something faulty, what do I do?

      A full refund will be available in the instance of major manufacturing faults/defects including sale items.

      I received an incorrect item, what do I do?

      We try our best to pack all our orders with care but if we have made a mistake and sent you the wrong item, please email us at orders@kathleenberney.com.au and we will send you the correct item along with a reply paid label to return the incorrect item free of charge.

      How long until I receive my refund?

      Once we receive your item and inspect it, please allow approximately 1 week from the day we receive your goods to process the return.
      If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund via your original method of payment.

      Can I return or exchange a sale item?

      Sale items can be exchanged for a different size or style. We ask you to cover return postage in this instance.
      Unfortunately, sale items are not eligible for a refund. We can, however, issue a store credit to use for any other purchase on our website, if you do not wish to exchange your sale item.

      Please check our return process for further information on how to return or exchange your order.

      Can I return or exchange made-to-order garments?

      Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges or refunds for made-to-order garments.

      Can I return an item that was gifted to me?

      If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

      Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

      If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver directly.

      I can't log into my account. Help!

      We have recently re-launched our website to provide you a better shopping experience, which may have changed your account status. If you're having trouble logging in, please contact us at orders@kathleenberney.com.au and we will send you an email invitation.

      How can I use a discount code?

      If you have a discount code, you can enter it during checkout before you finalise your purchase.

      Can I order over the phone? I don’t like buying online.

      Yes, we have plenty of customers who prefer to order over the phone.

      What payment methods do you accept?

      We accept all major credit or debit cards (except American Express), as well as PayPal and Apple Pay.
      In addition, we accept AfterPay and credit/debit card payments over the phone.

      Is it safe to enter my credit card details at checkout?

      We use Shopify to host our website, which is PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant, so you can shop online without having to worry. You can find more information here.

      I received an email saying I have left something in my cart, but I already purchased it. Did my order go through?

      Sometimes emails can take a few hours to reach your inbox.

      If you have placed a purchase in the meantime, you will have received an order confirmation via email.
      If this is the case, you can ignore the reminder about having left something in your cart.

      I don't know which size is right for me. Can you help?

      Do you offer plus sizing?

      Yes, we do! We offer sizing from S to XXXL.

      If you need a size we currently don’t offer, we can custom make a garment for you. Simply contact us at orders@kathleenberney.com.au.

      Do you have a store I can visit?

      We don’t have a physical store at this time, Kathleen Berney is sold exclusively through www.kathleenberney.com.au.

      To make online shopping easy and convenient for you, we offer free shipping and free returns within Australia, so you can try on our garments at home and return or exchange them with ease.


      MADE TO ORDER

      What if I want something in a different colour or size?

      No problem at all. We offer made to order garments.

      Can I return or exchange made-to-order garments?

      Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges or refunds for made-to-order garments.

      How long does it take to produce my made-to-order garment?

      Please allow 2-4 weeks for your made-to-order garment to be made.


      ETHICS & SUSTAINABILITY

      Where are your clothes made?

      All our clothing is made in Sydney. We have been in business for over 25 years and have always done all our manufacturing in Australia.

      How are your clothes made?

      Our studio, office, design room, sample making and small production facility are all located on our family property in Sydney’s rural fringe.

      We try to be as sustainable as possible and run our business using solar power and rain water.

      To minimise landfill, all used pattern paper, silk, cotton and bamboo fabric scraps are composted in large compost heaps on the property and any other fabric leftovers are panelled together into scarves.

      Of course, we pay everyone in our supply chain fairly. Although sometimes, if business is in a quiet spell, the only person not getting paid quite fairly is myself: Kathleen Berney!
